In our time we've developed core strengths in farm ATVs along with Stihl Outdoor Power Products and other garden care products.
IN OUR BLOOD
Originating from a country garage in the small coastal town of Porangahau, Mills Honda boasted three family generations in the motor trade industry. Father and son took on the Honda franchise in 1976, and this saw the move to Waipukurau, where the company focused on servicing the wider farming community in Central Hawke's Bay.
Specialising in ATV and two-wheel farm bikes, 1989 saw the acquisition of the marquee of outdoor power equipment, namely Stihl, and this has grown into a major strength of the business.
After over 45 years Mills Honda remains fully committed to Honda and Stihl products.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Mills Honda prides itself on our community involvement in Central Hawke's Bay. We actively sponsor a number of sporting disciplines, including golf, rugby, dog trialling and trail bike riding. Culturally, we sponsor local theatre and school fundraising. Mills Honda enjoys supporting the community that supports us.
MOVING FORWARD
Our new premises on Takapau Road, Waipukurau has allowed us to take the next leap in our journey, and we are proudly now a Stihl Shop stocking a complete range of Stihl products. The move has taken us to the next level of professionalism, and we plan to grow this side of the business over the coming years.
